I’m really passionate about financial planning and helping ordinary people experience uncommon success.  In doing so, I help my clients develop positive financial habits and consistently make progress towards their future goals.

I grew up in Lima, Ohio and attended Shawnee High School.  Fun Fact: I was part of the 1997 American Legion Baseball State Championship Team and ate a steady diet of Kewpee hamburgers along the way. My senior year of high school, I was honored to receive a nomination from John Glenn to attend the United States Military Academy, eventually graduating with degrees in management and short haircuts.

After graduating from West Point and successfully completing Airborne and Ranger schools, I served two combat tours in Iraq.  It was in Iraq, operating in unfamiliar environments, that I learned how important it was to pay attention to details and quickly adapt when your situation changes.

Now as a CFP® professional advisor, I’ve helped hundreds of clients learn to do the same:  Recognize and understand their surroundings, analyze strengths and weaknesses, develop a plan, execute the plan…and most importantly, adjust your plan accordingly when necessary.

Family:  I’ve been happily married to Amber for over 18 years. We have four children: Abigail, Madelyn, Charlie, and Nora.  All four children attend Westerville area schools and are actively involved in their school sports, as well as the Westerville Aquatic Club (WAC) Swim Team, Westerville Naturals Baseball, and WyldLife/YoungLife.

Faith:  Our family attends Lifepoint Westerville, where Amber and I are both on staff, and we support a number of local and global ministries.

Fun:  I’m a big fan of CrossFit and four of us in our family are members at CrossFit Polaris.  It’s a good workout within a great community of people.
